Ingredients
| Ingredient | Quantity / Detail |
|---|---|
| Thin beef steak (milanesa or sirloin) | 500 g |
| Fresh asparagus | 1 bunch (thin or medium) |
| Soy sauce | 1/4 cup |
| Garlic | 2 cloves, finely chopped |
| Vegetable or sesame oil | 2 tbsp |

Preparation Method
- Wash the asparagus and cut off the tough ends. Blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes and then transfer to cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Season the beef slices with salt, pepper, and the chopped garlic.
- Place 2 or 3 asparagus spears at one end of each beef slice and roll tightly. Secure with a wooden toothpick if necessary.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the rolls on all sides until the meat is well browned (approximately 2-3 minutes per side).
- Pour the soy sauce over the rolls in the skillet and cook for an additional 1 minute to glaze them.
- Remove the toothpicks before serving.
Recommended Sides
- Steamed white rice.
- Rice noodles with vegetables.
- Fresh cucumber salad.
